Vinyl Coated Galvanized
VINYL – POLY-VINYL-CHLORIDE (PVC)
The most commonly used plastic for mechanical cable coatings. It is considered one of the most economical cable coatings. Vinyl is flexible, has good weathering resistance and resists ultra violet rays of the sun which degrade many plastics. The operating temperature range of vinyl is between -30°F and + 180°F. Sanlo’s standard PVC offering is rated at 86 DUROMETER (shore "A"). This durometer is suitable for the majority of applications. PVC is offered in a clear/transparent appearance.
